Welcome to the MJSchmidt Photography page. I'm excited you are here! I'm a lifestyle photographer based in Monticello, Minnesota & available for travel worldwide. I'm passionate about photography and living a life filled with intention and appreciation. 

I live for love, a good cup of coffee, an adventure, and time with family & friends. I'm a lover of seeing beauty in the world, my hubby, family, and Jesus. Telling your story through pictures is my favorite part about this job. I promise to help make you feel beautiful, natural, and comfortable in front of my lens. My goal is to capture real moments that show love and emotion!

Fun fact about this small and growing business, my other and half, Jarid, is my teammate when needed and is actually the 'J' abbreviated within the company name - MJSchmidt Photography. My husband, Jarid & I always seem to have a passion for whatever the other is passionate about. We enjoy taking photos and capturing incredible drone footage, but Jarid specializes in drone capturing and is my lovely assistant from time to time! We are eager for adventure and absolutely love to travel, so keep us in mind for your next destination event!
